I'm a sound and video artist based in Mexico City. I combine spoken word and chanted vocals, guided musical improvisations, and video art. My work uses traditional “trance totems” (chant, guided meditation, visualization, sacred geometry, ambient harmonies, hypnotic patterns, etc.) to open reflections on contemporary trance states in power centers (finance, law, development, etc.). To unearth the latent mysticisms of ostensibly rational fields, I mine self-help literature, legal texts, management speak, New Age therapies, and meeting minutes, extracting circular logics that pair well with pattern mazes and harmonic fog.
